How to play this game?

Hey guys I recently bought this game and am playing it with the WTF face.
I don't understand what to do.. I can only place objects and use guns, that's the most thing I learned till now..
Also why does it take too much time to go to a MP server? I've been trying to join one for half an hour.

First,this is a hacking community
Second,the game is a SANDBOX,all you do is spawning objects,using tools and going around
Third,it takes alot as you have to download a gamemode and all needed files,such as maps too.
