Newsflash: Closed Beta rewards, ESL Test Cup and more...

Soldiers! The preparations for the official launch are running at full speed and we still owe you some feedback regarding some questions that have been brought up during the last couple of days.

I like to take this chance now and bring some light into the darkness…

Hackers/Cheaters:

It is a known issue that a couple of hacks are circulating at the moment and a couple of players, who obviously would be too bad at S.K.I.L.L. – Special Force 2 without these little but mean helpers like Aimbots etc., are causing quite some trouble at the moment. It is also known on our side, that the fun for all the others is falling on the wayside. Nevertheless we are working on a solution for the current problems and from Wednesday on at the latest, we will be able to respond to hacks much faster.

Closed Beta in retrospect and Closed Beta rewards:

Yesterday we already presented you some stats about the very successful and constructive Closed Bet. Let me thank you all again for your support, which of course will soon be rewarded! At this very moment, we can’t and actually don’t want to tell you, what we have planned in order to thank all Closed Beta players, but we’re sure that they will definitely like it! However they need to be a bit patient until they receive their gift.

SP rewards for level-ups during Closed Beta:

During our Closed Beta there was a bug in the level-up system that didn’t give out the 5,000 SP level-up rewards for every special level-up (the ones where both rank name and symbol are changing). In the course of the coming week we will subsequently reward all the Closed Beta players with a specific amount of SP.

ESL Test Cup:

On the 1st of September, the ESL was holding a S.K.I.L.L. – Special Force 2 Test Cup and an unbelievably high number of 56 teams registered. Many thrilling matches have been held on that evening and we are really happy about the tremendous popularity this Test Cup enjoyed through your participation.

The three ESL-teams that made it all the way to the top are:

energize – Bravo
sNova

We like to congratulate all three teams on their great performance that evening and decided to reward the members of the winning teams with a VIP ticket (30 days) each.

New Content:

This topic was also brought up quite a lot during the last days. Of course there will be new content for you in the near future and you don’t have to worry about additional content in the future. As in every of our Free-To-Play games like AION, Runes of Magic, TERA, and Metin2 we will release additional content for S.K.I.L.L. – Special Force 2 on a regular basis as well! There will be more maps, modes, weapons and equipment and it won’t get boring. Trust us, as we already know what’s coming up in the future.


That’s it for the moment. We are really happy about the great community that is already shaping up at this early stage. We are also happy about the action and fun that is happening on the servers and we will do everything we can to make life as unpleasant as possible for all the hackers out there and to be able to react to hacks in a significantly shorter time in the future.

ELITE PROGRAMME COMPLETED: THE CLOSED BETA HAS ENDED.


The closed beta phase is at an end: together with you and the other players, we have ripened S.K.I.L.L. – Special Force 2 ready for its public appearance – thank you for your efforts!

The war continues of course, as the open beta follows the close seamlessly.

To show some appreciation for the realised successes so far, we have put some interesting numbers together:
