I was just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions for metal bands in the vein of Xanthochroid, The Unconscious Mind, and Ne Obliviscaris, ie Melodic Extreme Metal.

You've probably already heard, but Be'lakor is one of my favs.



There's also asguard which I found recently. Pretty good.



You also have Wintersun, but you've probs heard of them too.

Nice lists, however I can't really contribute now.
I'm deathly tired right now, I will be back with something that might be worthwhile.

However, have a look at Apati - Sömnlösa Nätter, Lifelover - Mental Central Dialog or the like.
