C4D's take away from the focal point as they're all bigger then the render itself, and a lot more prevalent and appealing then the focal.
And you literally went to open like 3 - 4 C4D's, and just pasted them on top of the render.
If you see how others incorporate C4D's it's to use them as a background, or to show depth, or to just fill up dead space some times.
I don't see you doing any of the above with the C4D's, but trying to make them into an effect like you did with your most recent tag.
