Surprisingly I woke up super later today and the thread hasn't been made by Scott or Hero. I Found that a tad odd. Anways, discuss:

School or work maybe? I was going to make this thread but I was busy watching anime. To summarize this chapter: Nothing important

No plot progression
Shikamaru doesn't die (Pretty obvious he wasn't going to though...)
Same old speech about dreams and shit

Ok....... wasn't this speech given like.....3-4 times already?(this fight alone!)

Listen this is another "oh let's pity naruto because he's standing up for us" moment, and I still don't get that. Naruto just-so-happens to have the most power here, he isn't doing this "for other people" so much as to "stop the badguy"(just like everyone else.).

Second, I don't feel naruto had the worse life in the series. Off the top of my head, Sasuke, Neji, gaara, Kikashi, Sai and Juugo all had shit childhoods. At least naruto never had to kill anybody and had a teacher to look after him(iruka).

Third, get the useless characters out of here! I mean all they've done so far is sap chakra from naruto, and fill 9/10 of every chapter with speeches.

Idk, seems like another chapter where fuck-all happens.

Just more pointless stuff really. Naruto slows down for a second after exhausting most of his chakra.. SPEARS .. Neji dies for no reason.

I was up until like 4 AM, but it came out late today. Then I had school, and I just read it there and forgot to post it. xD Thanks for posting this either way. :P

Anyways, this chapter was a little slow, but I'm always a fan of pep-talks, so I don't really mind. Shikamaru didn't die, which is nice. And, MOST IMPORTANTLY, we know that Kakashi is going to be coming back into the fight soon. The only thing he was doing was healing himself, and god dammit, giving himself stitches? Obligatory "like a boss".

I actually really want to see more of Jimmi Hendrix (The First Raikage), even if most people thought that was kind of boring. xD Oh, and the few panels of action we got this chapter were pretty cool. Anyways, ONWARD, TO NEXT WEEK! :P

If the character doesn't die nearly instantly then they won't die at all. That's how Kishimoto been rolling since Shippuden.
