Well, I can not tell which is the real tradition of Brazil because Brazil was inhabited by Indians. In 1500 had colonization by Portugal that lasted 322 years . In the mid-sixteenth century , began slavery in Brazil , blacks were brought from Africa to work as slaves . In 1888 slavery was abolished,. Then people began to migrate to populate the territories that have not "owners " , which in fact the Indians were the owners . From that time began to arrive in Brazil several people of various races , but most were Italians , Spaniards , British, German , and Arabic ; With the 1st & 2nd World War immigration exploded , many people fled to Brazil because things were calm here, then came many French , Portuguese, Italians , Spaniards , Germans , Jews , Syrians and Lebanese , Japaneses , koreans , arabics , britons, turks, Dutch , etc. So these people have been to many places in Brazil , forming hundreds of customs, culinary , languages , arts , literature , music , sports , religion , etc. .
