French as your primary language.

Maths are either win or lose. Some will be amazingly good whilst some will be horribly bad.
Neurology has to do with it. Brain hemispheres to be exact.

And also the will and motivation to do it.
If you cant really understand some part, google it or something.
I heard from a friend that there is this website (Not url: Khan Academy) has some lessons + excercise for some math.
