I always like when you make this kind of "plain" sigs. Plain as in without text, like I mostly do and see.
They seem generally to contain the necessary and only the necessary elements to make the sig look good.

90% of the time when CnC'ing people say that text is a hard thing to get right.

So don't use it on published pieces until you like what you've got going for you.

OT: Background is weird, and it's a weird switch from the dark brown/red to the light green in the mid-right, and then a light blue at the bottom.

I don't know what you mean as Depth as in ocean depth, or actual depth in the signature. If you meant so as in the signature, there's only one place I see you trying to create depth, and it kind of didn't work out.

Pro tip: Over blurring a background is a noob way to make depth in a tag. You need levels.
