Combat Arms have poor hitboxes?

I was wondering, do you guys thinks that Nexon have poor hitboxes?

Example: Little Joe tries to stab Fat Bob in the face. Fat Bob blew his face off with a saw-off. You see?


I feels like it's quite troublesome and sometimes annoying, when you're stabbing someone's faces and the hitbox does not click in. The guns are just fine and dandy. Shoot someone between the eye and click, off they does to Hell and then respawn again.


I just feel that, that Nexon America Inc. Did not really do very much with the knives, I personally thinks they halfassed it because of the fact almost 98% of the people just use guns, the 2% being knives only or a random OPKer.. maybe someone pwning someone..

I feels that the company showed lack of improvement to the weapons. They offers use some nice gameplay, new accesses like blocking off shotguns, etc.

I just don't personally feels they are into the knives? I mean if you have the wakazashi (that's what I call it because it look like a short short :P). I mean, you're good to go. You can own anyone you can see, but if you're like me. A little knife, I think you're screwed.


Don't get me wrong. I don't suck..eh I do at knives. But maybe you guys will help clear things with me?

If CA made a serial key system it would be cracked in 10 seconds and released all over MPGH. So thats basically useless.

Personally I think the whole dynamic of the knife is perfect. I've never had a problem stabbing somebody. I can go all knife and break even against people using guns.

The only problem I have is the lagshot. This is mainly because CA allows people to move to fast, so there is lag when you run around corners. In fact I have shot right at the wall around corners and killed people. This is a lag problem and a synchronization problem. Because CA doesn't use client sync, the client-side can basically do whatever it wants. All it cares about is who killed who first. This is why there are no "ties" in CA.

I can't trust my knife, I just use my gun, don't take the risk.

I agree, the knives are very hard to use or get used to. When I first started I though that the knife would have to land on the player during the swing, and it didn't matter where the crosshair was. But when I found that out I realized that it was absolute BS. Because that would make it impossible to hit a fast moving target, especially if they're shooting you. It feels as though knives are only used as a "joke" kill for afkers, campers, and most of all snipers.

I just intemidate the other clan during clan wars. Just like in two towers. I steal their flag and climb up their tower and wait for them to kill me. Very entertaining while they keep screaming at you hacker. Also very funny to see how long you will last with 5HP.

Anyway. The knife IS a joke unless you need heavy damage in a short amount of time.

I am an expert knifer i sometimes use knifes instead of a gun... It works cuz people c u running with a knife and there like WDF?!? and then i just stab them

Well, to tell you the truth, I am kinda used to poor hitboxes, you should see CSS's hitboxes sometimes, it's really funny.

the knife system isnt poor, its lame, people far away from you hit you, and when you are almost touching the enemy it bug .-., simply hateful

I get pissed when I knife people really close and they don't die and when people knife from like a body lengh away I die

yes it is pretty bs O.o actually if u aim above the persons head its an hs.... instead at their face.....

In RL if you hit their face, it isn't going to be an instant kill. It has to pass through the brain. And in RL, if you get hit badly you will start bleeding and should bleed to death.
