Combat Arms have poor hitboxes?

I was wondering, do you guys thinks that Nexon have poor hitboxes?

Example: Little Joe tries to stab Fat Bob in the face. Fat Bob blew his face off with a saw-off. You see?


I feels like it's quite troublesome and sometimes annoying, when you're stabbing someone's faces and the hitbox does not click in. The guns are just fine and dandy. Shoot someone between the eye and click, off they does to Hell and then respawn again.


I just feel that, that Nexon America Inc. Did not really do very much with the knives, I personally thinks they halfassed it because of the fact almost 98% of the people just use guns, the 2% being knives only or a random OPKer.. maybe someone pwning someone..

I feels that the company showed lack of improvement to the weapons. They offers use some nice gameplay, new accesses like blocking off shotguns, etc.

I just don't personally feels they are into the knives? I mean if you have the wakazashi (that's what I call it because it look like a short short :P). I mean, you're good to go. You can own anyone you can see, but if you're like me. A little knife, I think you're screwed.


Don't get me wrong. I don't suck..eh I do at knives. But maybe you guys will help clear things with me?

btw that's true, i think that a shotgun should blow off at least head or a leg or an arm.

The hitboxes are pathetically slow at registering shots. I know for a fact I have to shoot at least 5 into an enemy with my G36 before the kill registers. Which is why I dropped the gun. Hit detection with knives is poor also, but not as bad.

Well any fps game can only be so Realistic, like if u have bots like in l4d or watever, then its fine. With these types of fps, It'll only be more ridiculous for the guy who gets hit. And yes, the hitboxes are ridiculously slow but that mainly depends on ur own internet

I get pissed when I knife people really close and they don't die and when people knife from like a body lengh away I die

Perhaps i'm wrong, but I believe it's the hitbox's delay in registering the shot that causes that, not the bullets lagging. I've never seen bullets lag coming out of the gun, but the hitboxes in this game are fucking terrible. As evident by the period of time where they just didn't register a shot.

thats true... but at least they improved the models... remember when game was beta: when you got so close to someone you just pass the other player's model....like if he wasnt there XD

Well its a free to play game they wouldnt put that much effort into everything yes it is shitty how it all stays together and its slow and shit but unless we all wanna be paying to play Combat Arms we cant complain too much...
