    They're much more xpensive though, the SSD I'm looking to buy is on sale at around £40, the 840 is around £80. I'm not really willing to spend that much for an SSD but I appreciate your advice, thanks.

    That's a great looking system. Have you considered picking up an i7 instead of the i5? Figured that if you're going to go SLI 780's, might as well spend an extra hundred bucks on the i7. Good luck

    There's no need for an i7 in a purely gaming build, I know more games are starting to use Hyperthreading but until every game uses it ot it gives me a HUGE performance increase then I think I'll stick to the i5
