They key factor is first of all following the rules yourself, being active & helpful in the sections, and reporting valid rule-breaking threads/posts also helps.

Well all I see is old people getting minion over and over again. Maybe you're right with that but there are always some "new" members who would deserve getting a chance to be a minion because they're doing much in their section.

Not really.
@Glue was pretty new.

You have to be here for the required amount of time, and then you have to be active in that section. If you're referring to why you didn't get it, you weren't all that active in any of the sections. Don't know if you applied or not.

Yeah I applied, but I knew I wont get it. Just wondering why people who were minions before get this job.
