Hehe so while I was adding the Led Ingots to my my items.xml I was wondering - I can use this recipe while my friend, the server host, doesn't have the recipe (the one for the Led). Could I put in anything?
And the answer is yes, yes you can! You can put in that e.g. the output of shotgun shells is 800 instead of 8. You can set the shotgun to be craftable without spring (f yea) and maybe even make stuff like the Sniper Rifle craftable?
I haven't tried implementing completely new stuff yet, but I will soon :b

People have known about this for a LOOOOONG time.

The first week, the recipes for several items were broken, so someone went into the items.xml and fixed them all, and in doing so, revealed you could change input and output.

Honestly I didn't know, but if this is common knowledge I do apologize for posting unneccessarry stuff :b
And I'd also like a hint - I've been able to reproduce bottled water (make 1 into 100), but I can't seem to be able to "craft" food at all? Like, I tried to get Potatoes (since they're already in there, I thus have the item name) from Sticks, Bottled Water and Sniper Mags - but nothing works ): got any hints or recipes to make food out of ordinary stuff (preferably Scrap Metal or Wooden Stick or something)?
