Alien games suck.

I mean a 1940-2000 type shooter. Seals vs Terrorist. Commandos vs Mercenaries, AK47 M4A1 as assault rifles, SMGs P90, Machine Guns, MK47. then have shotguns, snipers, hand guns... This is like the fudamental type of shooter, you gotta have shotguns which blast people on their Ass and they tap X really fast to get up or get in 1 or 2 shots off while getting up and get a head shot or something. Snipers are pretty much 1 shot unless super far away then 2 shots, machine guns are good for spraying in close areas and sniping in medium to long range, SMGs are to be fast when your running around so your not too slow so you can get to specific parts of the map as the round starts. Then assaults are for general use.


Alien games lack this, typically they got weird space guns.

I have to admit, the Mass Effect series suck. But there are a lot of third person shooters out there now. GTA V, Tom Clancy Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, ect.
ArmA 2 Is a third person/first person shooter, use your mouse wheel to use third person or first person. But I have to admit. As well, the ArmA 2 Engine is shit, It's laggy as hell.. But I managed to make it playable with a 5 Year old Nvidea GFORCE Graphics card.. With low settings. Still looks realistic though, But I don't recommend
using that game if you have a bad graphics card, like mine. Because I have Intel I3, Intel HD Graphics, 4GB Ram.. If you have a good computer then, yeah. Enjoy the games!

ARMA II on Steam can be played in third person, and its a war sim so..yeah it's pretty realistic
Steam Search ghost recon games, good shit but you have to download a mod for the 3rd person since it was only 3rd person on consol for some reason
Save 75% on Max Payne 3 on Steam not tactical or realistic, but fun and has a good story
Sniper Elite V2 on Steam 3rd person sniping game
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six® Vegas on Steam sort of like ghost recon, not sure about 3rd person on PC

PS stay away from ghost recon online, its a piece of shit and doesn't do the original games justice
