Actually, this is not RnB whatsoever. The closest thing to it would be Contemporary RnB, such as Stevie Wonder, which it still isn't. And I agree with Aborted, the song is generic as fuck and was written to simply make money, there is no emotion whatsoever behind it.

After having a guest lecture of Quincy Jones, I've learned to hate big label productions like this one. He explained it very well actually, Producers write the entire song, choose a random "artist" that would fit the bill, record them in a day, and have the finished product ready in a week. That's why the lyrics are pretty much the same for certain genre's, or very similar.
