How is this build?

My dear friend @Genesis made this build for me. My budget was $600. What do you guys think? Anything to change? Anything to add? Anything to substitute? Im all open for opinions.

Already discussed most of this with Genesis but all opinions and feedback are welcome! Its my first build.

Never go for an Intel CPU for anything under $250. An FX-6300 is more than 50% faster than a 3220, while being the exact same price. Also worth noting that you would be bottlenecked to hell and back with a CPU that weak with a 7870. That Mobo is pretty OP for your budget, and is pretty much throwing away money that can be put toward core components. A $50-100 will do you just as well. Bump that HDD up to 1TB, it's only about $10-15 more, and completely worth it in the long run. I'd suggest downgrading to a 7850 on the GPU, as it can run BF3 on Max at a consistent 50 FPS, and can be found on Newegg for only $110.

First thing I'd do is downgrade that mobo.

Pick a 'budget' RAM, regular Crucial will do, imo.

That GPU may bottleneck unless you upgrade that GPU to perhaps an i5 (from a glance).

I'd also upgrade that PSU to a 500 or 600w

Like what is already stated above, your cpu and mobo combo is subpar for the budget. An i3 is not worth the price and the mobo is overkill. You can allocate the money into a better cpu. There is nothing wrong with AMD and any computer enthusiast will tell you the same. Also, if you live near a microcenter they have killer deals on CPU/mobo combos that can save you a lot. They recently had a sale on ram but not sure if that ended already. Do some more research as your budget is big enough for some flexability in the builds.

Just upgrade the CPU and I think you'll be good, I never heard anyone use i3 for gaming.

Well seeming as it can Max BF3 at 60-70FPS, it should have no problem with BF4.
If you're going to be editing a lot of videos, I'd suggest bumping the CPU to an 8320, which would greatdly reduce render times.

Dont expect to be able to do 60+ fps while recording with that rig. If you run bf4 on low you might be able to do 60+

Recording and editing relies heavily on the CPU and your current one will not suffice. FX8350 is a powerful CPU and will render videos almost as fast if not faster than i5s. But it might put you overbudget . If you have the money and really want a powerful PC then its worth.

That's just Aborted's PC with an arguably worse GPU. It's also about $400 more. You've probably heard this a thousand times but don't buy a pre-built computer, it will set you back way more compared to building one yourself.
