    [300-350] BUDGET CROSSFIRE BUILD

Hey so christmas is coming and my laptop is dying slowly, constantly overheating.
I want to buy a computer able to run crossfire for 100-200 constant FPS and maybe some decent fps on modern games(bf4 or cod:ghosts) with settings on low or medium.Budget:300-350
    Can somebody help me?

Hey, a $350 budget is cutting a little close but its doable. I would reccomend pushing your budget to 500 that opens up a lot more options and a system that will be a bit more future proof. Also, you left out some info like does the budget include monitor, mouse, keyboard, os, speakers, etc. All those also add up. And if you have brand requirements though you should be looking at AMD for best power/price ratio in that budget range. I can compile a build list in a few hours when I get home.

This is an AMD A10 APU which should run games at reasonable frames in low-med settings.
If you want I can compile another build with a separate cpu and gpu but the price might be $100 higher.

    CPU: AMD A10-5800K 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor ($122.67 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 Micro ATX FM2 Motherboard ($59.99 @ Newegg)
    Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($64.99 @ Newegg)
    Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.98 @ OutletPC)
Case: NZXT Source 210 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case ($34.72 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: Corsair Builder 430W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($19.99 @ Microcenter)
    Optical Drive: LG GH24NS95 DVD/CD Writer ($15.99 @ Microcenter)
    Total: $370.33

Edit: can't post links for some reason o.o

No need for CPU cooler unless he plans on OC'ing, which i doubt.

Take off the CPU cooler and upgrade your CPU.

I think the athlon is just a bit more power efficient since it has one less core and lower freq but it is a fine cheaper alternative with a dedicated GPU

Get your cpu/mobo in-store at Microcenter if you have one near you (they don't offer the same deals online). Microcenter usually offers bundle deals a couple times a month for a mobo/cpu where you can save 10% off on the cpu, and a straight $40-50 on the mobo. You can usually get a mid-low end mobo for free, and then get a better cpu for the same price.
If you're really that strapped on your budget though, it might be wise to wait for black friday and purchase a PC-combo deal from Newegg or Tigerdirect.

As of 9/17, I will be away for a few days due to medical reasons. Should be back up soon. Please refer to a GM or other mods in whatever particular section you need help with.
