My first attempt at graphic art (altair)

Hi every body!

this was a attempt at "graphic art" which in this situation would be a profile pic






Its not that good but if you guys like it I can make one for you!

The top was the finished product, the middle was the first unedited pic and the one on the bottom was before I added text obviously

I don't really know too much about graphical stuff but the text definitely doesn't go with the image.
I like the overlay idea but it looks very dark and too 'shadow-y'

Also, in the original image his clothes blend into the background which does not work at all in the edited photo..

Great effort for a first try though! and this is my first cnc

I think you could delete the sparkles that are on top of render, brush a bit with black color behind render head (might end up cool) and its cool for a 1st time anyway. Good job.

It looks like all you did was change the opacity of 1 layer so it would overlap.

Go with a darker color on the text maybe? Then give it a dark shadow around it and MAYBE some smuge effect of some sort?
