Ride to Conquer Cancer - Fundraising !

Hi MPGH, I am currently embarking on the most challenging journey of all!
There is a huge fundraising event yearly hosted by Enbridge in my area (Canada, Ontario, Toronto).

The primary objective? Raising money for Cancer research, facilities, etc!
Last year about 5000 participants raised just shy of $20,000,000!
Wow. Isn't that insane?

The reason for it being so high, is that every participant MUST fund raise a minimum of $2,500.
This for me is a HUGE milestone if I can surpass it.

The ride is on June 7-8. If I am able to raise $2,500 or more, I will be able to ride from Toronto to Niagara Falls (200KM distance) to show my support for the cause!

The site itself seems like a fantastic cause, but you yourself are the dangerous variable in all of this. I'm not saying you're a scammer, but you do have to realize the possiblity. Would donations go directly to you, or filtered through the site? Besides, you didn't even leave a link or any way to donate.
