    Achieved speed != Downstream rate?

    Because I pay for 30mb/s. Without the range extender on I only usually get around 20 - 25 mb/s. (Afternoon.)

    And with it on, I'll get like 30 - 35 mb/s. (Afternoon.)

    When it's like 2AM, and nobody is downloading shit, I obviously get 40 - 50.

    Ping your modem at 192.168.0.0 and check your downstream. The log-in is usually admin:admin but it can be different, just check the bottom or back of the modem. Whatever the downstream is, is what your ISP is actually giving you.
