Intresting...
Well they already release a Lobby force so i cant see why they cant force this no source code tho
I noticed, by watching force hosting on PS3 and Xbox, that the method they use is that they block the game from connecting to other lobbies and they modified the "Game's begin in...." timer to 0 seconds. In the game, the dvar "party_minplayers" is set by default to 2. They also freeze this value to 2 so that when someone joins the lobby, the game starts immediately. When freezing this value to 1 or 0 the lobby doesn't search for players or lobbies anymore.
If all is doable, to force host on PC we need:
1.Block the game to join other lobbies
2.Freeze party_minplayers to "2"
3.Change "Game's begin in..." timer to 1 or 0
If all that is doable, a real Force Host for PC might see the light of day.

So, setting "cl_maxPing" to some extremely high number, it will stop you from joining any other games.
"party_pregameStartTimerLength" doesn't seem to exist anymore, can't seem to find anything like it

would be awesome dude^^ if you find a way that we can force the host and that you kinda make like a lobby manager that you can change the points like if domination is 200 you can set it to 250 and a option to kick/freeze people if you got something like that working i will happily donate to you^^
It would actually be an extremely low number as that line sets what the maximum ping of a lobby you connect to can be and should not stop others from connecting to you depending on what they have their maxping setting to. By default it is 800, which is an aweful high ping for a pc game. No wonder everyone complains about lag as hardly anyone has really lowered the ping to a point where they only connect with people a reasonable distance from them. FPS games run like shit when you have over 200 pings so 800 is completely retarded

I found a way to force host any gametype and that the mods are applied. BUT! The only way that may work is going to be a lobby that works with invites only.
Therefore you will be able to create a private ranked XP lobby. If you guys don't mind about this, then I can change the lobby editor to make such lobbies. But I will need to test it first.
