    Stupid error

Ok so as some of u might know, my computer has a virus.
I am currently re-installing vista (cos that's what you do
to re-format vista computers) and after it installed some
files, it had to restart. But when it turned on again, there
was an error before the windows screen that said "A disk
read error occured ... press ctrl+alt+del to restart"
So i click it and restart but the same error keeps on occuring.
There is no cd in the dvd drive so i dont know how to fix.
If any of you have experienced this before or know how to fix,
please let me know. I'm on my laptop btw.

ok well when i start the computer, it says "A disk read error occured ... press ctrl+alt+del to restart". I can't even get to the windows screen meaning that
i can't access my files or log in to my account. I'm getting it fixed by a
professional that i personally know atm. Hope he can do something about it.

Can you enter your bios? Try pressing F2 at the boot up screen. I think your hard drive is corrupted

Did you completely wipe your hard rive so it was COMPLETELY blank? If it wa s blank then you should of had no problem at all re-installing win vista, cause it take like 20 min.
