Do sounds in launchers even matter? Just some food for thought.

Launcher was made before mojang change the sound directory. That's why it can't download sounds for minecraft.

Ok for now it looks like it's not working but i try premium one (download it) but data base is down. SO that can be problem why it's not working. Wait few hours, maybe will start work again.

Yo, this isn't working just like any other, it has nothing to do with their database, it's that they somehow blocked cracked launchers from downloading the modpacks. I'm not any kind of expert for mc launchers so idk how did they do it, but just like a ton of other people I'd appreciate if you or some other guy found a way to fix that so we can all get back to playing tekkit (buying the game is kinda my last resort, but I'm gonna do it in a week or so if this can't be cracked)

Just download the files of the mod pack from a friend and put them in rather than having the launcher do it. It will bypass that problem.

Hey man, could you tell me how to do that? because there in tekkit directory(where the everything about that modpack is), is no .jar file that would start it up, there's just minecraft.jar that just starts the basic minecraft with no mods..so yeah, It doesn't work...and yeah, I'm looking in the right place, not that much of an idiot, but thanks for the suggestion anyway

I have site where you can download different launchers for cracked minecarft. And one of them is technic when their data base got down every one report same problem so i check their data base. And it was not working. After few hours every one start reporting that launcher is working again. And i tested it out and it works.

Also i just tested it right now and download works fine. So yeah idk what you are talking about but as i remove my .technic folder and try tekkit it works fine.

In case that some mod packs won't work use this config. Please it in your .technic folder. (C:\Users\ YOUR PC NAME HERE \AppData\Roaming) remove old installedPacks and place this one. This should enable you to download attack-of-the-bteam pack and maybe some others. (i tested it out and it did allow me to download it)
