The whole MJ is a beast is the world trying to make his death as dramatic as possible. I don't feel sorry for him. Clearly he was a horrible father(not that I'm any better, but did I ever say I plan to have kids?). He brought his kids up in the wrong environment. Talking about a friend two, three months after their death can break one in tears. Imagine talking about your dad who died a week ago, and not shedding a single tear.
