Sub has a better script it seems though... yeah, i rewatched it in dub vs sub, holy shit is the script a lot more boring in english.

I cant watch dubs, they annoy me.
The only ones I likedd were DBZ in Portuguese (from Portugal, not fuking Brasil) and Sailor Moon (same language)
The reason was because some parts characters mouths were moving while the translation was shorter. So the dubbers had to fill in with something.
If nly you knew what they did in DBZ Gohan vs Cell... Shit, I'm breaking in laughter only by remembering.... If you knew Portuguese (dont know if you do or not) you'd be laughing your ass off as well. ahahajaha

Standing on its own...it's okay. It's fun as heck, but it doesn't really go beyond that. Sorta FLCL.

It's like redline without action.

Compare it to redline, bebop was an entirely different moodset from the start.
