The Cartman of most friend groups.

So I'm not too good at expressing myself but I'll try.
"The Cartman" stands for the person that considers you their "friend" but tries to get you to leave the group as much as possible, by being a huge dick to you most of the time.
So the South Park reference is them being Cartman and you being Kyle.
I understand that all friends insult each other in a friendly manner but this person doesn't stop doing it and he/she tries to make you look like a fool and talks behind your back most of the time. Whenever your friends are away and they're suppose to invite you to something he/she "forgets".

So they're only acknowledging your existence because they're your friends, friend.

He's being doing this to me for about 2 years now and I've gotten pretty sick of it.

Anyone else have a person like this in their lives and if so, how do you put up with them?

I generally tell people to flat fuck off.
If they truly want to be a friend, they'll get the picture and clean up their attitude.
If they're not a true friend then they'll usually just leave, it's a win-win scenario.

Like @Aborted said, if they are not being nice and actually BEING a friend, get them out of your life. That shit is toxic and you do not want that.

Not only that, make it apparent to your friends as well. Make them understand where you are coming from and if they really cared, they would find a way to work it out with you and him.

We're in a time where friends no longer really exist, even trustworthy people are hard to come across.
I don't believe that I have any true friends simply because I don't want to put up with their lies and bullshit.
Of course I have friends but none that I could completely trust.
