Install and reinstall your Terraria through Steam. Or well... If you have cracked shit, then reinstall dat, and the essential files you need are:
Content (Folder)
Steam_Api.dll
Terraria.exe (In this case, the Terraria.exe that comes in the .rar file.) Make sure you click the correct version.
Dunno if i can put in links but ill try.

hmm... well i uninstalled, re-installed, i have the .exe and the .dll that i needed. but the client will not start. quite odd. i DID move all my steam files over to this computer from another. 1gb at a time i might add. but regardless i guess that the client just wont work -.- should i just delete the terraria folder manually? maybe uninstalling it then would work...

Maybe you should... Make sure you have the correct frameworks too!

The XNA framework, and the Microsoft NET 4 framework. Google up both names and download it from the Microsoft website. Install then, both uninstall Terraria, and try again. Good luck!

did not work. dont know why. i guess, i cant have hacks on terraria anymore. i loved using those hacks

Uhm Infinest two suggestions. 1.) A way to change the placing size like .psize (Hight) (Width) [ex.) .psize 3 3 would make a 3 by 3 square in .place and 2.) This is more of a question, is there a way to stop using .place? I did .place 0 and started placing some dirt but after when I only wanted to empty some water but it still placed dirt. So maybe a command like .noplace or just .place none would turn off the .place command. Those are the only suggestions I have as of this moment, hope it helps.
