    Julius Caesar

Julius Caesar was undeniably a great leader.

However, do you think that the Liberators were right in killing him?

    Were they justified?

From a historical perspective yes but it's quite entertaining.

When leaders get killed, it is never justified. The liberataors were afraid to lose their political position, they could have just arrested him and crown someone else Caesar. Also the roman empire by then was enormous and had a severe financial crisis, because of poor decisions. Usury became a sin after the fall of the roman empire, so my guess is The church had a big influence on this. After all, the roman empire expired but from then on, the world was christianized and the vatican gained controll.

Jesus wasn't even born at the time of Julius Caesar's death.........(it was entirely a roman affair, the church and christians were not able to influence it thanks to not existing, also they got tortured by the romans for hundreds of years till Rome accepted them, by then Rome was pretty weird.).

Aaaaaaaaaaanyway, the death of Julius caesar wasn't....right? I'm not exactly familiar with the history and whether caesar was driving rome into the ground, but it looks like the death was more for another party to gain control.

Given Rome's history, it's not utterly surprising or wrong in that context, but it didn't really benifit the Roman Empire as far as I know so it's wrong.

All good man will one day fall.. He was too much of a people leader, gaining too much power which could corrupt him so they decided to just prevent that. Everyone, even today, who changes the world, will soon fall too.. or something like that..

The point is that people are jealous and they just don't want one person holding all the power, either good or bad. They were wrong on killing him just because of power, but if they could prove that somehow, Julius will abuse his power, then it was right to kill him to prevent it.

''Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.'' ~Abraham Lincoln~
