Opinions on my MPGH Wallpaper!

I've been using Photoshop for sometime now and I mainly want to focus on 'Minimalism'
Whilst this isn't really minimalist its a start point and some where to work on Its more off a Simple + Clean design.
Anyway I want your guys thoughts on it and how to make it more minimalist.

Your background gradient is far too generic - maybe lower the range so that you get a much smoother looking transition and you're not having so much of a 'bevel' look from the surface brightness.
Also, the font is far too small/pushed away. Despite a minimalistic look, you want it to be the focal point.

I like basic designs an this kinda strokes me the right way, Maybe making the shadows behind the text extend farther an putting a little flare in the empty space would set it off. Keep at it man, Gradients can look great if pulled off well for wallpapers.

Go easy on the drop shadow. Lower the opacity a little.
Also, the blue is a little too "candy colored" to look nice on that background.

Why can't you just edit your posts?

You just make them too damn short,often not even typing in anything constructive. (except a x/10 rating and and eventually a quick opinion)
If you're looking to raise the post count,then don't make it so obvious.
If you aren't trying to do that,then click that damn edit button.

As my post atm would be lacking,here's my CnC:

The image is terribly lacking in every aspect: the background isn't pleasing at all,the text is just typed and placed,the shadow is just one single filter.
So my score is 0.5/10.0 .
Why? The vast majority of the image is empty and not pleasing to look at,the only part you worked with is the text,which is terrible too.

I do click edit, but now a days it lags so bad that it takes like 10 minutes to edit just one post, that's why.
