Carry extra guns glitch DAYZ SA

Hey guys, me and a friend were playing DayZ the other day and came up on this glitch.

First join a server and have a gun in-hand.
Leave that server and join another server and the gun will be automatically placed away at the top of the TAB menu.
Move the next gun you have from a backpack over to the holding spot and voila, you have extra gun slots.

If you're having trouble making it work, I'd love to try to help.
I've done it multiple times, so it should work for everyone else too!

Can you be more clear? I didn't get the last part. Lets say I have a mosin on me and I have an m4 in my hands, I log out, join another server and now what?

there is another glitch throw the weapon you want then move your weapon from your hand then pick up the weapon

Yes it works but this isn't really a glitch.

But remember , Climbing , drinking , eating , Geting axe out for zombies etc will force u to drop the weapon.
So this "Glitch" is not really handy. cause u often drink , eat ,

Other wise i would have post this already at release of the game.

It could have other uses as well, like maybe transporting the gun for a friend, in which if it's a short journey you wouldn't really need to stop and eat if you've already filled up.
Just useful information I figure people could use.

That's the hands slot, it's a game feature -.-

Now the M4 will be stashed and your hands will be open.
You will always spawn with your fists out so if you log out when you have a gun it puts it away for you freeing your hands.

Therefore, you can just move the Mosin from your backpack to the normal gun hand slot.

Yeah, carrying 2 primary weapons is not handy, at all - not even with the knowledge it takes less than 2 seconds to pick up the 2rd weapon again. Logic.
