A common problem with private servers is the invisible character in the Username and Password box. When they make the client sometimes a space is put in the box. CTRL+A to select everything the the box and then delete it. Then type in your user. Do the same for the password. If that doesnt fix it then you have the wrong user and pass.

xD to add on. I figured that would be the next thing to check afterwords to make sure the account actually exists or if they have char pages you can check the char page of the account ;v

There are char pages, but you must be logged in to see them
