This is how to survive without a melee weapon

When you want to avoid zombies, you should crouch. Walking still alerts from a short distance. However, don't get to close or you will aggrovate them. If you don't have a melee, sprinting will just make you aggrovate other zombies. But you're in luck, because it's very possible to out run them. The sprinters however, will catch up and get you till you're dead. So be quiet when unarmed.Is it possible to survive the zombie outbreak without a melee. I have managed for 2 days in Infestations' time. All you have to do is keep your distance zombie by zombie and you'll be homefree. It's actually pretty simple but time consuming. Just remember not to sprint unless it's an emergency.
