It is obvious:
add
inCode:127.0.0.1 gsin256345.elasticbeanstalk.com
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
Cheatpunch send informations every 15 minutes to the anticheat server via a post HTTP request to gsin256345.elasticbeanstalk.com.
The host file is used to "redirect an url to an ip" (DNS resolution look in this file before contacting the DNS server)
So your are redirecting gsin256345.elasticbeanstalk.com to 127.0.0.1 which is the loopback address(your computer).
So Facepunch receive nothing and cant ban you

??????????????
The hosts file ships with windows, it's nothing to do with STeam or Rust.

II a quote from garry from the Rust forums:
"So what happens if I just block all traffic to it?
Nothing bad - feel free "

On to my real problem - I can't seem to be able to save the edited file as a file without extension. Any quick suggestions before I hit google?
EDIT: Nvm, I got it :b just writing "host" does the trick (be sure to not select any extension, too).

Mama,
just killed a man.
Put a gun right to his head,
pulled the trigger now he's dead.
'cause nothing really matters.
