[IDEA] To prevent ads, spams,viruses and much more...

I say in this download section when you post a thread, it can only be approved by a minion or mod just like the attachment.. This is way people can stop posting ads, stop spamming threads with pending attachment approve. I mean it's practically the same as attachment approval except people can just post outside link or spam while they r waiting for a attachment to be approved.. no one will see the thread after u made until a mod or minion approves the thread.. i know there is a mod for this, i seen it in other vbulletin forums..

A admin should go to Admin control panel>>>Forums & Moderators>>>Forum Manager>>>choose this forum and edit it.. here is the picture..



and when a user posts a thread it would say this to them:

I have proposed this idea before. obama said it would not work out for various (unmentioned) reasons.

its also possible that this is not a VBulletin plugin.

Edit: Just read the whole thing. if you found a plugin for this, you can contact dave on MSN, but im sure he wont like it.

it's possible.. i seen it in other vbulletin forums.. a mod would see the thread and would have to click approve on it and then everyone else sees it.. hold on i will try to find the mod's name.. i forgot, used it long time ago..

this defenitely already exists. actually, we already use it. but only in a certain section.
go try to make a thread in this section. Game Hacking Tools - MPGH - MultiPlayer Game Hacking you will see what i mean after you click submit new thread.

i just edited the thread to show how to do it.. it doesn't reqiure anything to install or download.. it's the same way as approving attachments except do it for the threads also..

how is this worst idea? when u make new thread in this section only, a mod will look at the thread so see if it follows the forums rules and the posting rules and the mod approves it..if not a mod can disapprove it so we don't see any choobs posting little ads or posting external link as virus and we don't see ppls spamming a thread where it says attachment pending...
