SSD Dead or somthing else ?

So recently my PC has been crashing alot. What happens exactly is I cant move my mouse at all and if I was on skype/listening to music the music goes really static but the weird thing is I can ctrl/alt/delete and use my keyboard but my mouse is frozen in place even tough I can still click it.

Was wondering if my SSD is dieing or somthing else may be wrong.

Also this happens once every hour or 2 and ive tryed logging out and logging back in but the only way to fix it is a restart.

I had this EXACT same kind of thing happen a few months ago. I had to format my SSD to a different OS all together and that fixed the problem. The only advice I can give is to re-install Windows 7 and see how things go.

I would attempt to back up all your files and try to recover on safe mode back to a time before these problems arose.

To access safe mode, press F8 after the initial start up.

If the problem persists, either completely re-install Windows on a new partition or try to do a repair installation if you still have the disc.
