I like usopp, but his gag isn't really that funny. While sanji/zoro/chopper/luffy/franky and even Nami have a good running gag and is used well, ussops "i'm a coward" is bullshit.

Because he already "overcame his fears" like a hundred times already. Shit there was a time where he fought Luffy, the fucking captain! He became the goddamn Sogeking! He's always cowardly, but he'd never just ditch people like that!



Now it seems he's somehow reverted to his almost original form, waaaaaaay back on the damn merry-go Island.

I agree to a point but untill we see the battle played out I wan't to hold my judgement. He could do something very very very epic to redeem himself. I for one think his little monolouge of him not being a hero and a hero is a farce. I think we forget one of Usopp skill to fame is that he's a liar, I would hope after the time skip he stepped up his lying game.

And correct me if I'm wrong, this is One Piece first (real arch) 2 v 1. I kinda give Ussop a pass because of this but then I kinda don't since he had all that time to team up with Robin (you don't need franky...fuck that scapegoat).

Yeah hopefully he will redeem himself like he did with the Sogeking act in CP9.

Frankly I'm dissapointed, I wanted Robin to be more useful in combat in this arc.

Nope, Robin now and forever will be support character. She hadn't had a fight since Skypeia, and that was a very very quick one. I hope she stays the same, She already has the hardest job and that finding One Piece and learning of the Void Century. One Piece is one of Luffy goals but he don't know how to go about it lol.

That's why I like Usopp so much, he so much like everyone else. Everyone imagine in there head that they'd be special life Luffy or Zoro but when you look at yourself in IRL you not fucking elite, your scared of something (most likely more than one thing). The only difference between Usopp and us is that we get to read into his mind and watch him be what we would be. Which is a possy.
