Phone suggestions

Currently I have a Samsung Galaxy II I9100 and it's a pretty decent phone. It has a dual core 2.2 GHz processor (I think) and I've installed Cyanogen Mod on it to make it exactly what I want. However with every phone they only last so long. I've managed to extend this ones lifetime by keeping it with extreme care and regular software updates.

I want to purchase a new phone and have been researching about what my next phone will be, any suggestions and possibly why would be great!

I have asked my friends at school and they just say 'Get and iPhone', 'Androids shit' or the classic 'iPhones the most powerful and best looking'. You get my point. Apple products are out of the equation here.

Nexus 5, New M8, Galaxy S4 or S5, Galaxy note 3 are the popular android phones now a days.

The Galaxy S4 and S5 would be out of my price range, the note 3 is way to big and as much as I want the m8 it's also out of my price range. I've searched up the Nexus 5 and it's so cheap for what seems like a flawless phone. I'll look into the Nexus 5 more but any more suggestions would be great

Only problem with it is that there's no replaceable battery or SD slot.

If you have the money get the M8, camera sucks like shit though.

If you have patience and money get the Z2(highly recommend) or the S5.

If you want the greatest phone for cheap get the Nexus 5 or Moto G and/or X

The Z1 is great. I have the s4 but the s5 coming out soon. If you have the money, i'd get the s5.

Why would a phone that is 3 years old have a CPU with a faster clock speed than the S4

Get the nexus 5.

I have the Nexus 5 and it is working perfectly fine for me. Although if you download an app that is quite big in size, the phone might lag a little.
