Well, those people are really dumb. I wasn't the biggest fan of it, but eh. Kirito didn't return the feelings at all, so it wasn't NEARLY as bad as it could have been.

I don't mind his avatar being female, for now. I'll have to see how it plays out, but from my understanding it's ONLY his avatar, he's still a dude in real life, so I see no problem with it.

I mean, I don't count it as gay since he's still a guy IRL and she's still a girl. As for girl on girl in general, of course it's gay, it's by definition gay. But Kirito is still a dude IRL so I don't see it as girl on girl.
