Only reason I don't play Dota is because of the time I have put into LoL and all the people I got on it, I mean I have put a lot of hours into it and wouldn't want to just let that go.

Well I started playing yesterday, and I have to say, I'm quite surprised with the result.
I've never liked MOBA games, they were just too slow for me. There wouldn't be enough action to keep me interested, not even for the duration of one match.
Playing it from a 3rd person perspective makes the game feel much more immersive, and fast paced. As mentioned, no Pay2Win aspect so far, but then again it's only been out for like what... Couple of days ? (Yea, I know the Beta started waaaay back.)
So you were one of the lucky guys who managed to reach level 10 before yesterday and get 663 gems for free ? I was 9 at the time, just missed it 3 Free gods, whyyyyyyyyy
I'm going to buy Scylla today, as I've just racked up enough favor for her.
I'd say Bastet is easy mode at the moment, especially with the recent buff. However your score with Hades is pretty impressive. I personally find Hades to be a useless piece of wank, but I'm glad to see at least one person making good use of him
The most appealing thing about this game is the fact that, if you so wish, you could consider it to be a 24$ one-time-fee game, and get all the current and future gods. It's very tempting
Overall I'm addicted to this game, and very satisfied with what it's delivered so far.
I hate the fact that people give it this much crap for being a MOBA. I mean come on guys. I've never seen a BF player yell "THIS GAME IS A RIPOFF OF QUAKE, WHICH IN TURN IS A RIP OFF OF ..." and so on. The MOBA genre is what it is, a genre. Not a game. LoL - Full of 10 year olds, shitty community.
DoTa - Too high of a learning curve so everyone without a brain drops the game within 2 matches (hence why there's such a low player base for now).

Smite- Rip off version of LoL (and LoL was a rip off of DoTa). So its a rip off of a ripped off game.

You don't have to let it go, you can just dabble in dota. You should give it a go and who knows, you might get better at LoL by doing so

I did try it once with a mate and Plutonsvea but I didn't really like it as much compared to LoL but ya never know might get bored.
