i could understand simple, because no one ever says that you have to make the most difficult signature in the world, as long as it looks nice, simplicity could be the key.
take the little AIM guy for example, its 3 yellow lines and a little ball, and yet is one of the most recognized symbols around the internet.

Kinda noobish, definitely some room for improvement. 6/10. Experiment with gradient maps/filters, they should help immensely.

ther average i would say, they both kinda look reall plain and just seem to suddenly cut off at the top and bottom, a few more effects wouldnt go amiss

tuts tuts tuts. i can't say that enough to everyone. I used to use tuts on everything. Its not noobish to tut, you learn the different techniques and skills to go away and make your own thing. So not liking this one man.
