Looking for an anime in a particular style...

School Holidays. I'm bored and need some shit to do.

I'm looking for an anime that's along the lines of something like Code Geass or Deathnote. Those kind of animes where there are a lot of things that all come together into the one final piece that effects the plot. The kind that has people plan and stratagize against each other. I would call these kind of anime's 'smart' animes but all it takes is a little bit of understanding and you've got what's going on so I won't. I can't think of a good way to describe it but you guys will know what I mean. So, any help?

Synopsis
A group of 15 elite high school students are gathered at a very special, high class high school. Hmm, for anime with intellectual main characters then I'd suggest Steins; Gate, One Outs and Psycho Pass. For a more Shounen-esque main character that's smart then I'd recommend Hyouka and Phi Brain. If you haven't already, then I think Darker than Black is the anime you should watch.

I took a look at Darker than Black, the animation style isn't really my thing, there's something off about it to me. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Ever seen Akito the Exiled? only 2 episodes, but I really like it lol

My suggestions are:

1.Another (Definitely worth a shot)
2.Danganronpa (Definitely worth a shot)
3.Higashi no eden (Doesnt pull much to wathc even though its close to waht you want)
4.Steins;Gate (You can follow series and the more the series advance the deeper the mistery. In order to really follow the story, follow my tip; NEVER FORGET 1ST EPISODE)

Sorry, I should have said before. I'm not a huge fan of subtitles so I'd prefer a dubbed anime, subtitles just isn't my jam.

Steins Gate,Evangelion ,Serial Experiments Lain and Ergo Proxy is all you need,or you could try Full Metal Alchemist, that is another good one.
btw there is NOTHING like Code Geass.

If you're wanting dubs then you're better off reading manga since there's tons of anime that don't get dubbed.

Man, that one year of no updates really made me forget where I'm at. This author is also the same one as One Outs which is pretty sick.

But anyways, one really good anime you should watch is K-On. Though it's quite gory and a little violent. Not many can handle the anime that is K-On.

I'm not sure if this is a hardcore trull but the only K-On I could find on Google was some anime about some girl in a musical band and everything seemed rather lovely and nice.

It's incredibly deceiving, you have to be careful with it. It's been known to flip on a dime and turn into a murder fest.

Lots of strategy too, though its about 4 episodes in till the good stuff.

Thats the scanlators. One Outs finished like 4-5 years ago and the scanlators take about a year per volume because it's not super-popular.

At least the author is working on it, not like Hunter X Hunter coming out with like a volume every 3 years now.
