You got a problem with Hackintoshes?
Some peasants like Mac OS, not on me.

I never heard of that before, and for my surprise, the guy posted below you said a friend made a Hackintosh and it ruined the PC.
I say that if you want a OSX you should get a Mac, if you want Windows buy a regular laptop or make your own PC. I mean that's what I'd do.
Oh and I dont have a problem with you, I just find the idea very strange.

Hackintoshes sound cool...but my cousin was building a gaming PC sometime around August last year and tried to turn it into a Hackintosh. The first two tries didn't work, and when the install did work, it was a laggy piece of shit.
I think I'll go Macbook Pro.

If you really need the Mac go for it, if you dont need OSX specifically go with one of the laptops I posted here.

I agree with @gamer4evere, only get a Mac if you need OSX. The only thing that I can think of is using it to message in class, given you have an iPhone. I prefer Windows but the choice is yours.

I'm going away to boarding school to live the 4 years of high school (hooray no parents = ez buttsmex). As a result, I'm getting a MacBook Pro to last out there.

First question is, when do you think this year's new Macbook Pro will be released? Do you think it will be released at WWDC 2014?

Second, I'm going to dual boot Windows on it. Will that be a problem at all?

Third, do any of you guys actually use a Mac?

I am using a 2010 Mac Book Pro and I am dual booting it's pretty amazing.

If you want to game at night, go for PC.
MSI or ASUS is a good brand for Windows laptop/gaming laptop.

I was hoping that I could do some mobile programming with the Cocos 2D Engine. Development for that engine is best on Mac.
