What helps you do better?

'Kay, this is where I got the idea.
For me, whenever I play epic music (and while I can hear footsteps) in the background of CA, I do a LOT better. I'm talking the same game, the same people, same map twice, and once with music and once without.
Scores?
With Music : 34 : 2
Without Music : 21 : 12

so I was just wondering, if this happens with me, I really can't be the only person right? Because there's nobody that special (who has had the same idea - nothing is original anymore ). So I was wondering, what makes you guys perform better? 100% legit of course.

I agree, you do do better with music on. The music just cant be extremely loud or screamo.

After chamming a few hours, any noob can focus on moving targets like a pro.

I've gotten higher than 21:12 without hacks, but never as high as 34:2, even with hacks

I've tried mouse sensetivity at 30-50 different settings, music different volumes, etc. but it didnt help much. I wish there was a way to tune out gunshot noise more than other things (grenades bouncing, footsteps, grunts of pain). That would make the game much easier.

I find that just relaxing and playing is the best way for me to get a high score...

i do like 50-2 without music and headphone help alot and legit

I do better without music in big maps since i can hear people comming but in small maps like junk flea and death room i do way better with music

Crusty, you should not change ur mouse sensitivity unless it takes you a long time to move your mouse. If you are doing only 20-10 in games that are your best, then just play with the CA sounds. Ignoring the chat and ventrillo also help.

i have one earphone in my left ear while i have an imac blasting music from the right XD
I do better with music also.
