Well i know for a fact realm of the mad god you can farm life pots or like 8/8 characters and sell the pots $.50 cents each or the characters for like $20 each.
I also know a lot of steam games have a market (Don't know much since i don't steam).

You dont need to use your money :v Just like what kodoku said. I mean if people are willing to pay like 3-5$ for a lvl 60 aqw account and you get some rares along the way and you do it to 10 accounts at the same time thats 30-50 dollars :v Holds true with other games.
