    Title says it all.. "GTX 780 SLI or just a GTX 780 Ti or Radeon R9 290 in crossfire." which one would you go with and why? Im trying to decide between the three.

    Might as well get 2 GTX 780's SLI if you can't get 2 GTX 780 TI's.

    A single 780Ti is the best bet, you can always add another down the road. Having one uber powerful GPU beats having several powerful GPU's.

    SLi compatibility, cost, resource consumption. Scaling for AMD/nVidia is pretty good but it's rarely as good as a single better card. Cost works out to be roughly the same anyways.

    I have single 780 ti and its enough...
    I can play everything on ultra with 60+ FPS...
    Dont buy another one, since you dont need it for now, and if want it later, you will be able to get it cheaper
