Why would you trade with a known scammer?

To be honest, curiosity got the best of me lol - from the threads on the official site I read prior to making this transaction, all the accusations were pretty vague and was pretty entertaining to follow. Was hoping to obtain the hammer and negotiate it back to the original owner(and maybe or maybe not get a discount)
