A question about bypasses and CE

So I am using the CheatEngine sv_cheats bypass where you set it to a random initiger and then change it to 1 once in the server. I am also using AHack.lua but have changed the filename to mylua.lua.

My main question is are there are other precautions to take so I don't get VAC banned? I read about a few people getting VAC banned from Steam for reason "Using Cheat engine and AHAck.

Any and all help is appreciated.

you won't get vac banned for using cheat engine with gmod, other source games you will though

So you are saying that Cheat Engine is safer then using public bypassers?

i'm saying that vac doesn't do anything in gmod minus detecting extremely outdated scripts which nobody uses

Here's the deal. Cheat Engine is NOT VAC detected HOWEVER, it is GAC (Garry's Anti-Cheat) detected. GAC only bans in waves so we have absouloutly no idea when you MIGHT be GAC banned. But GAC bans are bypassable with Steam Family Sharing so worst case scenario you get GAC banned then you can just bypass it with a feature implemented by Steam.

I always thought that GAC was inactive since Garry Jewman doesn't care about gmod anymore. And because people who have a higher knowledge on this subject said that GAC is inactive.

Have you.... Ever even used Cheat Engine on any game with a HL2 engine? Back in 2012 they would do instant-bans for it, from my past knowledge that's why anyone that's smart puts on -insecure when they go to update their hacks.

I have an undetectable sv_cheats bypasser if you wish for me to upload it... I just haven't uploaded it for the public on GMOD and currently only have the one for CS:S posted.

The only issue you need to really watch out for, afaik is for 3rd-party Admin plugins that can detect if you have sv_cheats different from the server.
