Get a slightly worse processor ( I5 is enough ) and use the rest to get a GTX 780 or a 780 Ti
Finalised my PC build.
Total cost of the rig is £865.34 ($1469.04), is it worth it and for the price is the performance optimum?

Overkill much? What are you going to be playing with this kind of rig? or doing
Do you plan to OC? If not, drop the cooler. Also, try to pirate the OS if you are able to, then you'll be able to spend this money on improving other parts of your choice.
What size monitor do you have? idk too much about gfx cards these days but I don't think you'd need 3GB (unless that's the only model)
I don't really know much about OC'ing so I'd have to say no I wont be. Is it ok to just use the stock cooler? I feel that since there are quite a few high end parts on it, it needs the extra cooling.
My monitor 24", and I chose the 3GB one because it wasn't the worst I could get but it wasn't the best and it has a very good base clock speed.
To be honest, I'd pick at the maximum 2GB. Spend the other money on a model upgrade or even better, save yourself some pennies
If you really want a cool (temperature) system then spend it on some chassis/case fans and just molex mod them (if you can't do that then just buy a fan controller)
If you mind noise, I would get that 212 Evo. It's much quieter than the stock cooler and it's only around $25. You only need more than 2GB video card if you are running triple monitors or more.
Well that PC is beast , you can run anything .
Future proof, where did you get the money for that!
