What is rooting? and is it useful or not give me an advice

Basically I got Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 and It is wonderful but I heard some guys saying rooting is useful but I don't know what is rooting and why should I do that?

That's how they call jailbreaking for smartphones, specifically android working phones. You basically activate a file from safe mode to make it so you have complete control of your phone and use apps you couldn't before.

Not necessarily. If the phone doesn't have any tracking tools or anti-root programs, then you can still get it replaced if you flash the original ROM. Granted, he has a Samsung device which probably has Knox but there is a new root tool out (via xda, uses Linux boot exploit) which doesn't trigger knox.
