The email will be recived once as a 'bomb'. But then it will be sent to the spam box, which completely defeats it's purpose. Unless you plan to slow down a slow email server, but then why not use a DDoS attack instead, they're far more efficient.

I set up a email that receives the bounced emails, as spam. I can see people failing to use real email addresses to spam, why bomb an email that doesn't exist?

although, bombing a fake email is better than bombing somebody who can IP Ban you from a site you like to visit.
